Benefits Of Using Shea Butter

Are you like me, do you struggle with dry skin? Do you find yourself continually moisturising throughout the day?

If you've answered yes, I have found the thing to complete your daily skincare routine.

Say a warm hello to Shea butter.

After several weeks of use, my skin feels nourished from inside out. No more feeling uneasy shaking hands during work meetings. No more feeling shocked as I casually glance at my hands and notice its ashy appearance.

It was not a surprise to learn that Shea butter's antioxidant and moisturising properties operate unitedly to boost your skin’s production of brand-new healthy cells. I no longer have to deal with the constant dry and dead skin that constantly plagued my body.

Despite having tested an extensive amount of body moisturisers in the past, I am yet to find anything that keeps my skin feeling fresh past midday in the way that Shea butter does. Thank you, Shea butter, for bringing balance to my skin.

I’ve also heard grand things about Shea's magical qualities from people with oily skin too - my partner being one of them. Shea butter contains fatty acids (like linoleic, oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids) that free the skin from excess oils restoring moisture to your skin. In other words, Shea is able to absorb into the deep layers of your skin without leaving it feeling greasy.

No matter your skin type you can enjoy the full rewards of shea butter.

Essentially, shea butter in its natural form is healthy food for your skin. It not only feels luxurious, but it also has a rich and nutty aroma. I am not sure if it's just me but there is something addictive about it. Once you start using shea, there’s absolutely no need to use anything else.

Shea has become the wonder ingredient for many cosmetic and skin care manufacturers. However, I've found that the manner in which some moisturisers are manufactured can sometimes diminish the marvellous qualities of Shea butter - word of advice, pay attention to the labels, and because of this I only use 100% pure unrefined Shea butter. I am conscious of what I use and I try to avoid heavily processed moisturisers because of this.

So far, my skincare journey has taught me that 'what works for one person may not work for me' and Shea has been nothing but a revelation for me.
